Quarry: Perhaps one of the "reasons" this is the case (at least on my side, which is all I can speak for), is that in Judaism, a person does NOT have
to be Jewish in order to have a place in the world to come. ALL righteous people have a place in the world to come.
Giish1983: The same is true for Islam:
"Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have
their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." (Al-Baqarah: 62)
"No doubt! Verily, the awliya' of Allah [i.e., those who believe in the Oneness of God and fear God much, and love God much], no fear shall come upon them nor
shall they grieve." (Yunus: 62)
"Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. (99:7-8)"
"By the token of time! Surely mankind is in loss, Except those who believe and do good, and exhort one another to Truth, and exhort one another to
patience."(103:1-3)
