RKC: I request that you go through these links and give your views on each of the Evidences provided. In particular, I would like to hear why
Ayesha was allowed to participate in the Battle of Badr when the age limit was 15.

RKC: Actually, those articles do the the exact opposite...they are a way to determine and accept the truth.

provide a rebuttal to the author's arguements. Let's be real...Muhammad(p) was a virgin until 25, when he married a woman 40 years old. He
stays married and faithful to her for almost 25 years. Afterwards, marries a woman who is 65ish. Then Ayesha who is most likely 14-15. From
then on, Muhammad(p) marries several women who are anywhere from 35 to 65! Any reasonable person would say this man preferred mature,
older women.

`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933). - According to Ibn Kathir: "She [Asma] saw the killing of her son during that year [73 AH], as we have already mentioned, and five days later she herself

100 days later. At the time of her death, she was 100 years old." (Al-Bidayah wa'l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 372, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933). - According to Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: "She [Asma] lived a hundred years and died in 73 or 74 AH." (Taqribu'l-tehzib, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, p. 654,
Arabic, Bab fi'l-nisa', al-harfu'l-alif, Lucknow).
- According to almost all the historians, Asma, the elder sister of Ayesha was 10 years older than Ayesha. If Asma was 100 years old in 73 AH, she should
have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of the hijrah. If Asma was 27 or 28 years old at the time of hijrah, Ayesha should have been 17 or 18 years old.
Thus, Ayesha, being 17 or 18 years of at the time of Hijra, she started to cohabit with the Prophet between at either 19 to 20 years of age."

Read it again. I believe she was 14- 15 years old. Where did I say I believe she was 18? The point of my statement is there are more reliable
hadiths (the same source you are using) that say she is as old as 18. Why would you take the least reliable hadith on the subject of Ayehsa's
age and IGNORE the rest.......because you are bigot. Now that is pathetic.

young despite all of the pieces of evidence in those two article's, tell me why you believe Hisham ibn `Urwah is so reliable in this Hadith.
Afterwards, I'll tell you why I think he is unreliable in this instance.
