RKC: Are
there any Christians destined for hell?
Hobelim: No.
RKC: Jesus says different.
Matthew 7
21 "Not
every one who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of
heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 On that day many will say to me,
'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your
name, and do many mighty works in your name?'
23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart
from me, you evildoers.'
Hobelim: To be a Christian one must renounce Satan,
RKC: To be a Muslim as well.
Hobelim: receive and conform to
the teaching of Jesus, and by doing so become Children of God.
RKC: Receive maybe, but conform to Paul’s interpretation and
changes.
Hobelim: Some may falter on the
path to becoming children of God but they are all destined for eternal life.
RKC: See above (Matt 7:21-23). Jesus says “not everyone” and then
described this group of people. It sounds like Christians to me.
Hobelim: Mohammed is The False Prophet,
RKC: Muhammad is “The Prophet” mentioned in the Gospel of John.
Hobelim: a mentally deranged
individual…
RKC: From your viewpoint, he would have to
be. After all, Muhammad specifically preached against the worship of Jesus.
Surah 4
171. O People of the Book!
Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah
aught but the truth. Christ
Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His
Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe
in Allah and His apostles. Say
not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better
for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to
Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the
heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
172. Christ disdaineth nor to
serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah.: those who disdain His worship and are arrogant,-He
will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).
Hobelim: … who mistook a demon
for an angel of God
RKC: I would be concerned about Paul if I were you.
2 Corinthians 11
14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
Acts 9
3 Now as he journeyed he approached
Acts 22
6 "As I made my journey and drew near to
Hobelim: and inspired by this
evil taught people to violate the commands of God,
RKC: Look at what Jesus referred to the as “the first of all
commandments”. Muhammad brought the same fundamental message as previous
Prophets, but you readily accept the teaching of the trinity despite the fact
Jesus, in the Bible, on more than one occasion says he has a God just like us
and said the “only True God” is the Father. Teachings such as God having at
least two (maybe three) wills...no “One” being can have more than one will!
Deuteronomy
6 (Moses)
4. Hear, O
Mark
12 (Jesus)
29.
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Surah
2 (Muhammad)
163. And your Allah
is One Allah. There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Hobelim: worship Satan
RKC: In Islam, we worship the Creator. Not
the created.
19. Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger,
20. Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of
the Throne,
21. With authority there,
(and) faithful to his trust.
22. And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed;
23. And without doubt he saw him in the clear
horizon.
24. Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen.
25. Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed.
26. When whither go ye?
27. Verily this is no less than a Message to (all)
the Worlds:
28. (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go
straight:
Hobelim: on all fours,
RKC: Muhammad brought the same fundamental method of praying.
Previous Prophets fell upon their face.
Genesis 17
3 Then Abram fell
on his face; and God said to him,
Numbers 16 (Moses & Aaron)
22 And they fell
on their faces, and said, "O God, the God of the spirits of all
flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be angry with all the
congregation?"
Joshua 5
14 And he said, "No; but as commander of the army of the LORD I
have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and worshiped, and said to him,
"What does my lord bid his servant?"
Matthew 26 (Jesus)
39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, "My Father, if
it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as
thou wilt."
Hobelim: and kill those whom God
loves as a matter of religious devotion. Those who submit to such evil can
never know eternal life.
RKC: The Qur’an says we are to fight those
who practice oppression, are aggressive towards us, expel us from our homes for
no reason, violate peace treaties, etc. To sit by idle is evil.
